Sanaya has been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma and requires IPD/OPD treatment for approximately 8 months. She has to undergo chemotherapy and surgery, and the estimated cost of her treatment is Rs. 5,00,000, which includes investigation, medicine, surgery, specific procedure, bed charges, and supportive therapy. Her father, Sultan Shaikh, is the sole breadwinner, and her mother, Fatima, is a housewife. Sanaya has a 5-year-old sister named Anshara. Her father is a small shopkeeper, and both her parents have a locomotor disability. Sanaya hails from a small village named Beed in Maharashtra. Initially, her parents noticed a lump on her belly and took her to the nearby hospital, where she was diagnosed with liver cancer. The doctor informed them to take her to Pune or Mumbai for treatment, and the family managed to get her admitted to Bharati Hospital for further treatment and chemotherapy. She has undergone five chemotherapies. A doctor has informed the family that Sanaya might have to undergo a liver transplant or else surgery. The treatment is estimated to cost Rs. 5,00,000/- (five lakhs only).
